In the ’80s, my friend Steve Wynn, a/k/a Biff and the Bells wrote a song with that title. 30 years later I still think of that song every holiday season as i reflect on another year of missed opportunity, dodging those “hard” things that woulda, shoulda, coulda made me healthier, happier, and a better person.
“I’m so shocking, there’s nothing in my stocking!” That pretty much sums it up.
